Thunder Basin girls repeat as 4A golf State Champs, Sheridan boys earn first place

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Thunder Basin girls golf team earned 495 points, winning the 4A state championship for the second year in a row at 3 Crowns Golf Course in Casper, Wyoming. Samantha Spielman took home first place, shooting 151. Sophie Spiva from Natrona County and Maria Farnum from Thunder Basin tied for second place, shooting 154.

For the boys, Sheridan won the state championship with a team total 658. In the individual round, Laramie’s Jackson McClaren finished in first place, shooting 153. Braxton Lind from Evanston finished in second with 155.
