CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum hosts art shows throughout the year.

Tuesday night it will be hosting “Art Uncork’d” with Laramie artist, Paula Wilson-Cazier. Wilson-Cazier is a third generation Wyomingite, watercolor painter and a lot of her work is of Wyoming’s landscape.

Wilson-Cazier will be teaching those attending some of her craft. You don’t need any experience to attend and the event is also a way for the museum to get the word out that its open.

“Getting people back into the museum, reminding them that we are still here, we’re still open and we’re still trying to keep things going, it’s just a nice opportunity to get the word out,” said CFD Old West Museum education coordinator, Jean Krause.

“Art Uncork’d” will go from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night. The fee for attending is $40 for CFD Old West Museum members and $50 for non-members. The fee gets you painting supplies, hors d’oeuvres and libations.

The museum will be following COVID-19 safety guidelines, so spots for the event are limited.

For more information on how to purchase a ticket you can visit CFD Old West Museum’s website here, or you can give Jean Krause a call at 778-7202.
