CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Community members could get eat chicken wings for a good cause on Saturday. This is the second ‘Wing Ding’ fundraiser the club hosted.

Craig Warner, a Past President, said they were expecting 300 hundred people and got around 500.

“The support of the Casper Shrine Club today has been overwhelming and we couldn’t have asked for a better day or turnout,” Warner said.

The 13 teams competing had to make more wings than expected. Warner adds he’s grateful the community came out to enjoy themselves and the nice weather.

The funds raised at this event will go to club expenses and to kids getting care at the Shriner’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Warner said he was grateful for all of the hard work put into this.

“Some of them cooked over 400 wings and ran out they went to the store and cooked more,” Warner said.
