CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Casper community members walked along the North Platte River to raise awareness for suicide.

Brittlynn Adame, the Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force Coordinator, said they want people to be together who are survivors or know survivors.

She adds they tried to keep the gathering small and had hand sanitizing stations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

They do this walk so they can help spread the word about community resources.

“We are really excited to see everybody and raise awareness about suicide and offering community resources that could help,” Adame said.
