Casper Shrine Club to host ‘Wing Ding’ Saturday
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper Shrine Club is hosting its second annual “Wing Ding” Saturday.
It’s taking place at the club’s headquarters behind the Sunrise Shopping Center at 1501 W. 39th St. in Casper.
The “Wing Ding” has two events. For the first event, 14 teams will be cooking wings for people to try and vote on which is best. It lasts from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
“Just come out and have a great time. Everybody last year said that it was some of the best wings they ever had. Our winner last year had some sort of wings that had truffles and everything else on it and the flavors were just unbelievable. Wings like you’ve never tasted before,” Casper Shrine Club President Greg Breed said.
The second event is a wing eating contest starting at 3 p.m.
Admission costs $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Proceeds benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.
