Wyoming September Winter Storm Update:

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Snow fall has begun in the central and northern regions of Wyoming. Southern regions of the state are continuing to experience light rain fall and chilly temperatures that will reach freezing tonight.

Things to look out for, the rain in the southern regions of the state are expected to change to heavy wet snow in the early overnight hours. With the continued freezing temperatures overnight. Beware of flash freezing and ice developing on road ways. The strong winds will be blowing snow throughout the morning hours on Tuesday which will lower visibility making travel treacherous. Cheyenne is looking at 4-8 inches in accumulation totals. With Casper at around 3-7 inches. The storm will be closely monitored throughout Tuesday.
