CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The owners of Mirco Pop-up Concepts in Cheyenne said their business consists of a couple of different things. There’s a food truck, coffee cart, and pre-order meals in Cheyenne. Juan Coronado and Seth Stephanik started the business in March.
Coronado and Stephanik both said this is one of their dreams come true. The two want to serve up a real experience whether it’s through the food truck, the coffee cart, or their pre-order meal options.
“I think I just like serving people the most. and being back here in Cheyenne,” said Stephanik. “Seeing our regulars and providing a service that’s awesome and great to them.”
“I’m more of an artist and entrepreneur as well as a chef,” said Coronado. “Anything that I can serve up to people and see them enjoy, that brings me a lot of pleasure.”
Both men are in their late twenties. “I worked [in Denver] for about seven years but decided to move to Cheyenne in 2014,” said Coronado. “I opened the Metropolitan. After that, this became the next project. But I’ve always wanted to own my own business. Cheyenne is growing. There’s a lot of potential.”
The Wyoming Business Council points out that one index ranks Wyoming the most friendly tax climate. The Business Council said that people and businesses thrive in Wyoming.
“I’m 28 years old and I would say that Cheyenne is a canvas that hasn’t been completed and now is a great time to bring your creative mind to the table,” said Stephanik.
“There’s a different pace here and there’s really only a few major players in every aspect of the industry,” said Coronado. “For example in the culinary industry, there are just a few main players. The music industry, the same thing. Just the opportunity for growth is what’s really appealing for Cheyenne.”
