CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cheyenne Frontier Days may have been canceled this year, but organizers want you to get excited for next year, especially with a new food vendor called Fun Biz Concessions, Inc.

The Frontier Fun Food Festival began Thursday and gives the community a taste of what they will be eating next year at CFD.

“We wanted to make folks aware that for the 125th daddy of ’em all, Frontier Days Rodeo event, that there’s all new concessions,” said Fun Biz Concessions Owner, Nate Janousek.

Janousek said they are hoping to bring a whole new variety of quality foods to CFD.

“I want everyone when they come here, to feel like they’re getting something that’s worth the price. We know, by doing a lot of these events, the largest complaint is the prices, people are very sensitive to the cost and we are too. So we would never charge the price for something that wasn’t worth it, we’re super duper focused on quality,” said Janousek.

Though CFD won’t be back until next summer, Janousek said it was important for him and his team to come meet and serve the Cheyenne community.

“It is super duper important for us to get out here and meet our prospective customers, and to start to form those relationships and those bonds with this community,” said Janousek.

For one person, attending the Frontier Fun Food Festival is a way for the community to just enjoy food and each other’s company safely.

“It’s good to be able to come out and at least social distance, and still be able to communicate with everybody, and see everybody happy, enjoying some food,” said Priscilla Barela.

Besides serving great food, the priority of the Frontier Fun Food Festival is the safety of those who come. There are tables spaced out, employees wearing masks and hand sanitizer available around the parking lot.

The Frontier Fun Food Festival will go through Labor Day and is noon to 10 p.m. every day except for Saturday when it starts at 10 a.m. and for more information you can visit the festival’s website here.
