CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - No. 4 Cheyenne Central went into Cheney Alumni Field and beat No. 3 Natrona County in their season opener, 35-21. The Indians took a a 14-0 lead in the first quarter with back-to-back touchdowns from Central receiver, Andrew Johnson (9 yard run, 53 yard reception). Natrona County then scored three unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter to go up 21-14. However, the Indians had a strong fourth quarter, scoring three touchdowns to beat the Mustangs, 35-21.

#5 Thunder Basin def. #2 East, 34-28

Kelly Walsh def. Laramie, 54-14.
