Hot Temps Stick Around With Little to No Moisture in Sight For The Weekend
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Waking up Saturday morning had a Spring feel to it. As the clock reached closer to noon, heat came with it. Winds on the normal scale across Wyoming, with little to no clouds cover throughout. Regarding clouds, Cheyenne residents may have seen a plume that mimic’s clouds in the sky. That is actually smoke coming from the Cameron Peak Fire. The two day fire has burned over 5400 acres of land with the large amount of smoke that has been created, has lowered the integrity of air quality in Colorado. With such dry conditions we have been experiencing for Wyoming & Colorado, a reminder to be very mindful when out as wild fires can spark up very easily with our current conditions.
Tonight, Cheyenne & Casper are looking forward to a nice cool-down with clear skies. Sunday another hot day with plenty of sun, for those looking to go hiking be sure to stay hydrated and take proper precautions to stay safe while outside. Moreover, it’s also a great day to head out to the lake and enjoy the sun. Reminder, that the sun is unforgiving so be sure to wear proper sun protection if you’re out for extensive hours and remember to hydrate!
