DOUGLAS, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Screams and laughter can be heard from the Midway Attractions Carnival. This is the first time in 15 years Wyoming State Fair has brought in a new carnival.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, they have mandatory hand sanitizing stations in front of each ride.

Courtny Conkle, the Wyoming State Fair General Manager, said they are using rides that can keep everyone six feet apart.

They are also sanitizing the rides every hour and limiting the people on them.

Conkle adds she’s excited to have them come this year.

“They’ve brought in some really cool rides some of which have never been seen at the Wyoming State Fair before,” Conkle said.

The carnival closes Saturday, Aug 15 at midnight.
