CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Deputy Chief Cameron Siplon has been a part of Casper Fire-EMS for 24 years. Recently he was recognized by the National Board on Professional Fire Service Qualifications by earning his Health and Safety Officer certification.

Firefighters across the country need certifications in many programs. As Deputy Chief of Training, Health and Safety, Siplon said the key for him earning this certification is continuing to keep members of Casper Fire-EMS safe.

“In my position, having this knowledge, the bottom line is that I get to help my people be safe, especially in the modern times,” said Siplon.

Casper Fire-EMS Chief Tom Solberg said they look forward to the contributions Siplon will help provide to take care of their firefighters.
