Summer Heat Was In Full Swing This Weekend More Shower/Storm Potentials For SE Wyoming Monday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Fire weather warning’s have been issued for Albany, Carbon, Laramie, Converse, Platte, Lincoln Sweetwater and Uinta counties until Sunday at 8 p.m. and Monday at 8 p.m. for Carbon County.

SE Wyoming experienced some serious heat Sunday as Cheyenne was close to passing the record set back in 2016 at 92 degrees. Casper holding onto the mid to upper 80s. Plenty of sun and breezy conditions across the state. After a day of brutal heat the night time will cool down graciously. Low and mid 50s across the state with light breezes and mostly clear skies.

Monday will bring potentials of afternoon showers and storms for much of SE and Eastern Wyoming and even Natrona county. For the rest of the week low chances but still possible showers and thunderstorms in the early week. Heat wave will continue to keep majority of the state dry.
