CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Meet your Candidate for Laramie County Commissioner Brian Lovett.

Brian Lovett is a Republican running for Laramie County Commissioner, Brian filled Amber Ash’s seat when she stepped down to join the Cheyenne DDA

Here is a little more about Brian:

Age: 61

Occupation: Administrator, Industrial Siting Division-Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality

Political Experience: Precinct committeeman 20 years, County Central Committee Chairman, Board of Supervisors Laramie County Conservation District, County Commissioner.

Time in Cheyenne: 33 years

Slogan: "An Experienced Voice For Laramie County".

Why you chose to run: 25 years of working with commissioners on various commissioner appointed boards and commissions. Planned on running upon retirement from the State of Wyoming but sought appointment when Commissioner Ash stepped down. Selected by Laramie County GOP and Commissioners to fill the vacant seat.

What is Laramie County’s biggest challenge: Laramie County’s biggest challenge will be the growth we will see in the coming years. We must address infrastructure and resource limitations now to mitigate impacts to existing residents and protect our customs and culture.

If elected I hope to achieve: Responsible fiscal management while meeting customer service needs, providing for human health and safety, and supporting infrastructure and asset management.
