The Home State Cowboys will play ten games this year. Eight conference games plus two non-conference games. Sources say a crucial reason for this move was to allow the Air Force to play its Commander in Chief games w/ Army and Navy.

The league issued a press release Wednesday that outlined the nature of the situation:

“Should further modifications become necessary, including delay or cancellation of the conference play, the MW Board of Directors is prepared to do so.”

For now, the University of Wyoming Cowboys Athletic Director will have to rearrange the Pokes schedule before the season opener.
