Governor Gordon distributes over seven million dollars in CARES funding for continuing education

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Today at a press conference Gov. Mark Gordon announced seven point five million dollars will be available for adults underemployed or unemployed due to COVID-19.

These adults can continue their education at the University of Wyoming or community colleges.

“I have been so impressed by non-traditional students and how anxious they are to expand and grow their credentials,” Gordon said.

He added the fund will be distributed through CARES act dollars and distributed through an application process.
