CHEYENNE, Wyo. (PRESS RELEASE) - Some customers in the Bar X Neighborhood area could experience low water pressure while the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities (Board) works to repair a broken valve in the water main. Because the valve is broken, normal water pressure to homes and businesses during high water use will not be met in the Bar X Neighborhood (see the below map). Water will continue to be supplied to homes and businesses during the repair but at a reduced water pressure.

The Board is asking customers temporarily not to irrigate their lawns and gardens from Wednesday, August 5, 2020 to the morning of Saturday, August 8, 2020 to assist with low water pressure in the area.

The Board is working as quickly as possible to safely repair the issue and estimates completion of the repair to occur by Saturday, August 8, 2020.  The Board will post updates at www.cheyennebopu.org and on social media. For questions concerning this issue, please contact the Board at 307-637-6471.
