Black Hills Energy providing help for customers in need
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Black Hills Energy is hoping to help their customers during challenging times. They have a few different options for customers to look into if they need help paying their bill.
Michael Howe, the community affairs manager, said one option is a budget billing program.
“What that does is stabilize your payment on a month to month basis so you’ll always know what it is. It helps plan a little bit too,” Howe said.
Their other options are figuring out a payment arrangement which could be a flexible option for customers.
Also, if they are struggling to pay because of a medical reason, they can get their due date extended.
They also have a program called Black Hills Cares. This program helps customers pay their bill from customer and employee donations.
Howe adds it’s rewarding to be a part of a company that’s helping people during difficult times.
“We encourage our customers to do the best they can to stay healthy and safe. The health and safety of our customers is our priority,” Howe said.
The number to call for advice on these programs is 888-890-5554.
