CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - WyoLotto transferred 867,000 dollars to the state treasurer earlier this month which is the highest it’s been in the last four quarters.

Also, the highest amount is given to the state treasurer since 2019. This money will be distributed throughout the state to use as needed.

Jon Clontz, the WyoLotto CEO, said this amount was higher than he was expecting to be able to give.

“Each week we do a transfer allocation and I could see it looked like we might have a chance to get above 800,000 dollars. I’m pretty happy and excited to be able to do that,” Clontz said.

WyoLotto is also having a Powerball promotion starting in August.
