“People here are good people,” Partner of Lucid UVC, John Edwards said. “The community has an actual need and we wanted to be able to service the community and take care of our citizens that are local to us an that we care about.”

Lucid UVC partnered with Cinos UVC in Kansas to get their cleaning products. According to Edwards, using UVC adds to chemical cleaning, taking the effectiveness from 75 to over 99 percent. The UVC breaks down the DNA and RNA of bacteria and viruses. The device used includes a power supply that contains 500 watts, using a light bulb of 1,000 watts.

“We need to know that our residents are safe and that we’re doing everything that we can to keep our building virus free,” Executive director of the Comea Shelter, Robin Bocanegra said.

Lucid UVC plans on offering their services to multiple businesses in the city of Cheyenne.
