CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Remote control aircraft enthusiasts from across Wyoming and other states will descend on Casper this weekend for the annual Casper Air Modelers Fly-In.

The Casper Airmodelers Association hosts the event.

It begins Friday at the remote control airstrip near the Casper speedway. It lasts through Sunday.

The public can stop by during any of the three days and watch these model aircraft.

“It’s a very good feeling to be able to do what we can and help people out… comradery is way up there on the list and it’s just a lot of fun. It makes you feel good,” Casper Airmodelers Association President Craig Bastian said.

He said there will be social distancing and masks will be available.
