Cowboys prepare for drive-in bull riding at Terry Bison Ranch
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cowboys have traveled from around the country to compete in the Bull Riding Drive-In at Terry Bison Ranch. According to resort owner, Dan Thiel, the idea was inspired by the drive-in concert previously held at Terry Bison Ranch.
“What’s so exciting about it is everything from the social distancing aspect we can put on an event like this and still stay safe,” Thiel said.
It’s a two-night event that will have a total of 70 bull riders. Half will compete on night one, while the other half will compete during night two. There will be three rounds of 11-12 bull riders per round. The top 10 bull riders will come back for a short-go round, each night.
“For somebody to put on an event and have fans come out and be able to get out of the house and enjoy themselves and enjoy their family, it’s awesome,” Professional Rodeo Clown/Entertainer, Matt Tarr said.
The show starts on Friday, July 17, at 9:00pm. Night two will be on Saturday July, 18, at 9:00pm. For more information on tickets, visit: Blue Pig Presents.
