CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)

Tonight for Wyoming we will have a calm night ahead of us. A couple of showers are in the northern part of the state, but they will be pushing out overnight. In Cheyenne our low will be 57 with partly cloudy skies. Casper will be similar around 56 degrees with mostly clear skies.

Saturday, the eastern part of the state will see another potential for severe weather. The area will be under a marginal risk, level 1 out of 5. Any storm that gets going will have gusty winds and hail as the primary threats; however for the panhandle a possible tornado spin up or two cannot be ruled out. If you are going to be outdoor activities Saturday afternoon make sure to have a way to receive weather updates. The storms will fire up tomorrow afternoon moving eastward. The state will be warm again tomorrow with temperatures in the upper 80s to 90s.

Sunday will be the best day this weekend for afternoon outdoor activities with mostly sunny skies and temperatures remaining in the upper 80s and 90s for most of the state.

By Sunday evening a cold front will come through the state with the greatest decrease in temperatures being in the southern part of the state. These temperature difference will be felt Monday especially for Cheyenne with highs in the lower 80s. In Casper the temperature decrease won’t be as great with temperatures in the mid 80s.
