CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper Events Center is going to resume hosting indoor events.

After working with Casper-Natrona County Health Department officials, arena officials have been approved to have indoor events with limited capacity and social distancing.

The first event is Casper Comic-Con, which is scheduled for July 25-26.

Events Center General Manager Brad Murphy said the event will take place in three sessions over the two days. Only 500 tickets are available for each session. Arena staff and vendors will be required to wear face coverings but those attending the event are only encouraged to wear one.

“It’s just great to have people back in,” Murphy said. “We’ve been closed since March 12 so our staff is excited, the city is excited. We’re finally getting some people back in the building.”

The Events Center is also hosting a comedy show and dinner Aug. 1 featuring Josh Blue and Brandt Tobler. Dinner will be included with the purchase of a ticket.

Tickets go on sale for the comedy show Friday. They’re already available for Casper Comic-Con at
