CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Natrona County Clerk’s office is taking extra precautions this year to ensure early voting in the 2020 primary goes smoothly.

Natrona County Clerk Tracy Good said absentee ballot requests are up 62 percent but many voters will still vote in-person either early or on election day, Aug. 18.

Good said voters will be social distancing. Poll workers are also protected by glass shields. They also clean the voting booths periodically.

She said she’s also ordering disposable pens from the Wyoming Secretary of State.

Early voting is taking place at the old Natrona County Courthouse at 200. N Center St. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday through Aug. 17.

Voters can also still request an absentee ballot by calling or emailing the clerk’s office. They can also request one in-person, at the clerk’s office.
