CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Did you know the Declaration of Independence is on hemp paper? According to a Forbes magazine article, even the most beautiful Bible paper today remains hemp-based.

“Hemp does a lot of things for fiber, and it makes parachutes, rope, it makes hemp creed and hemp board. It makes almost a fire-resistant house.”

Wyoming you have to love the tree because they are nonexistent, but you have to make paper out of something, here’s your paper plates and straws. Hemp makes paper cups, and here’s your paper towels and toilet paper, all of it.

With the legalization of Hemp growing in Wyoming, the question remains can the hemp tree flourish and grow on in the Wyoming soil. Tim Anderson and Green Tree AG are looking to put that theory to the test.

Currently, Prarie Farms harvest six different crop styles, ranging from barley to corn and now Hemp. Anderson says he intends to get in on the ground level of the booming industry. Claiming he will have a tour for politicians and state patrol to show he growing his Hemp legally.
