Fight night at the Outlaw
Live MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing action in Cheyenne.
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Live at the Outlaw Saloon, its Fight Night.
Sparta Sports and Entertainment gives the Capital City hand to hand combat up close and personal.
Fighters from all across the U.S came to the Cowboy State for one reason. These brawlers put it all on the line to have their hand raised after the bout. The card lived up to the hype. The Sparta fights provide Cheyenne’s city; it’s first live event sanctioned under Wyoming MMA Board.
“This is unique because we have all this pent up time on our hands, we’ve all been on lockdown, we haven’t seen a live event. We had over 240 fighters sign up for Sparta because they hungry all over the country to get in there and bang and do their sport.”
During this Pandemic, we’ve saw the challenges that come with hosting sporting events indoors or outdoors. The testing helped clear the fighters for combat. Fortunately, no one on the fight card tested positive for COVID-19.
The night was action-packed from start to finish. Moreover, the event proved that Sporting events could occur in Wyoming while following the Commission's guidelines.
We asked the man behind it all if he would bring the show back to town. All signs point to live combat coming back to Cheyenne.
