CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -There’s still time left to respond to the U.S. Census questionnaire before employees come knocking. People can respond by phone, mail or online. Wyoming’s self-response rate is 56.1 percent.

The enumerators in the field will be out nationwide on August 11.

They want to keep everyone safe and prevent the spread of COVID-19 by providing everyone in the field with personal protective equipment.

“The intent is that each employee will have enough through the duration of their service with us— about six to eight weeks. If they need more we re-supply them,” said Tim Olson, associate director of field operations.

Olson added they aren’t allowing field workers to conduct interviews inside anyone’s home.
